Job Description
5Tattva is looking for a proactive and experienced System Administrator to manage and secure its IT infrastructure. The role involves working with both Linux and Windows server environments, network firewalls, and system monitoring tools to ensure operational stability and security across internal and client-facing systems.
Requirements
Responsibilities Administer Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
Configure and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs
Monitor system performance, patching, and log management
Implement and maintain firewalls, NAT, VPNs, and basic network security rules
Manage user provisioning, access controls, and permissions
Apply system hardening and patch management practices
Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures
Set up and support system monitoring tools like Nagios or Zabbix
Maintain documentation for procedures and infrastructure changes
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
2–5 years of experience in system administration
Strong hands-on experience with Linux CLI and server configuration
Proficient in Windows Server administration and GPO management
Experience with firewall solutions (FortiGate, pfSense, Cisco ASA, etc.)
Solid troubleshooting and documentation skills
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ITIL, PCI DSS, NIST, ISO 27001) is a plus
Nice to Have Certifications: RHCE, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
