Job Description

Accenture is hiring an Application Support Engineer to act as a software detective, proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across multiple components of critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behaviors, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The professional will collaborate with different teams to maintain system stability and performance while continuously enhancing service reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and troubleshoot AWS Cloud infrastructure (EKS, ECS, ALB, VPC, Autoscaling)
  • Perform hands-on Kubernetes cluster operations and debugging
  • Handle Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
  • Manage real-time incident response and triage for P1/P2 incidents
  • Utilize AWS CloudWatch and Dynatrace for monitoring, alerting, and root cause analysis
  • Perform log and metric analysis to correlate metrics, logs, and traces for faster RCA
  • Trace failures across distributed services from UI to backend
  • Automate operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
  • Work in rotational shifts including night shifts for 24x7 operations support
  • Collaborate across Dev, Infrastructure, and Product teams during incidents
  • Proactively identify risks before they become incidents

Requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Production Engineering roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (EKS, ECS, ALB, VPC, Autoscaling)
  • Expert-level Kubernetes hands-on experience including cluster operations and debugging
  • Solid Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
  • Proven incident management experience with real-time triage of P1/P2 incidents
  • Hands-on experience with AWS CloudWatch and Dynatrace for troubleshooting and alerting
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python and Shell
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible
  • AWS Cloud DevOps or Developer Certification (Associate/Professional level preferred)
  • 15 years of full-time education required
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release governance
  • Knowledge of production-grade scaling and performance tuning
  • Exposure to LLM or high-memory workloads is a plus
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with business and technical teams
  • Calm and decisive under pressure with high ownership during outages
