Role Overview
As a Platform Engineer, you’ll build scalable, secure cloud platforms that support our suite of construction tech products. You'll be the core enabler of speed and stability for our development teams—delivering powerful, observable, and fully automated infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines for engineering teams
- Set up observability tools and ensure fast, reliable feedback loops for developers
- Drive platform scalability, security, and resilience
- Stay current with modern DevOps tooling and cloud-native technologies
- Lead and mentor team members while fostering a growth culture
- Engage in infrastructure automation, cloud optimization, and incident resolution
- Own documentation, process improvement, and technical standards
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3+ years in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles
- Deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture and Terraform
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems, networking, and IAC best practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
- Demonstrated ability to execute under pressure and scale systems
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
- Public speaking or writing contributions to tech communities
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, GitOps, and serverless
- Experience scaling platforms in high-growth startups
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure tooling
