Job Description
Miamin Systems is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP. The role requires strong hands-on cloud experience, automation skills, and the ability to maintain secure, high-performing cloud environments.
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for architecting cloud environments, implementing Infrastructure as Code, optimizing cloud operations, and collaborating with DevOps, development, and security teams to ensure platform stability and performance.
Requirements
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools
- Use IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, reliability, and performance
- Implement cloud security controls, IAM policies, and compliance standards
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize resource utilization
- Configure cloud networking (VPC, subnets, load balancers, DNS)
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE for containerized workloads
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Stackdriver
- Perform cost optimization and prepare cost usage reports
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–6 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates
- Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE
- Linux administration, networking fundamentals, firewalls, VPNs
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Understanding of IAM, storage, compute, databases, and cloud architecture
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting capability
Nice to Have
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Engineer)
- Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, Cloud Functions)
- Knowledge of SRE practices and automation frameworks
- Scripting knowledge in Python or Bash
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
