Job Description
Cognizant is seeking a Cloud Native Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Entra ID. The role focuses on securely managing workload identities across cloud and on-premises environments, with a strong emphasis on automation, security, and integration with containerized and serverless workloads.
Requirements
Responsibilities Configure and deploy workload identity features across GCP and Microsoft ecosystems
Manage Workload Identity Federation for secure on-premises to GCP access
Integrate workload identities with containerized and serverless applications
Automate identity provisioning and deprovisioning
Implement and manage Entra ID Protection for detecting and mitigating identity-based threats
Configure Conditional Access Policies for workload identities
Deploy and manage managed identities and service principals
Optionally deploy and manage SPIFFE/SPIRE infrastructure for secure identity management across heterogeneous systems
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to onboard applications to the IAM system
Investigate and resolve workload identity-related security incidents
Requirements Hands-on experience with GCP workload identity features
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID
Proven experience automating identity lifecycle processes
Familiarity with containerized and serverless environments
Ability to implement identity-related security best practices
Certifications Required Azure Cloud certification
