Coschool is hiring DevOps Engineer – Hyderabad (Remote)

Coschool, a fast-growing Generative AI edtech startup, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and scale its cloud infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to shape infrastructure strategy, drive automation, and support rapid product growth across India’s evolving education landscape.

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS.
• Automate deployment workflows using Terraform and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and enable high availability for key services.
• Lead or participate in incident response and blameless postmortems.
• Support deployment, configuration, and integration tasks for development teams.
• Automate repetitive tasks like provisioning and environment setup.
• Implement and enforce security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, PCI-DSS).
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.

• 3–6 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Expertise in container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including performance tuning and HA/DR strategies.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Skilled in Python scripting and infrastructure automation.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or PCI-DSS.
• Familiarity with secure deployments, VPNs, and access controls.
• Previous experience as Lead SRE, DevOps, or DevSecOps Engineer.
• Experience with on-call rotations and incident handling.
