Cotiviti Hiring: Associate Operations Engineer - Trainee

Cotiviti is a leading provider of analytics-driven solutions for healthcare organizations, helping clients improve operational efficiency and compliance. As an Associate Operations Engineer Trainee, you will play a crucial role in supporting enterprise customers using Cotiviti’s Encounter Management (EM) and Enrollment Management (ENR) products.

Position Overview This role focuses on post-sales technical support, operational management, and proactive issue resolution for Cotiviti’s EM and ENR solutions. You will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless product performance and high-quality customer experiences.

• Manage end-to-end operations of hosted or customer-hosted EM/ENR application instances, including upgrades, configuration changes, and daily submissions.
• Build custom tools and utilities, generate ad hoc reports and queries to support client operations.
• Provide technical support for enterprise clients, addressing both technical and operational aspects.
• Collaborate with Product Support Engineers and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Analyze application and database performance, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate fixes.
• Deliver proactive management of submission cycles and reactive management of customer-reported cases.
• Ensure smooth customer experiences by collecting problem details, reproducing issues in test environments, and providing workarounds or temporary fixes.
• Follow standard case management procedures and continuously improve troubleshooting skills.
• Contribute to the knowledge base by creating reusable documents based on observed patterns during issue resolution.
• Work in shifts and provide weekend on-call support as per roster requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of Java, JMS, SQL Server/Oracle, and web/application servers such as Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere Application Server.
• Ability to guide customers remotely through multi-server deployments and upgrades for enterprise products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with large-scale application performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SQL query writing and database troubleshooting.
• Exposure to cloud-hosted applications and operational monitoring tools.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
