• Build and maintain infrastructure for CPU performance verification
• Develop targeted tests to measure and validate x86 processor performance
• Gain deep insights into AMD's CPU microarchitecture, including pipeline stages, execution units, and internal structures
• Perform RTL simulation and emulation debugging
• Triage performance failures in pre-silicon validation and identify root causes
• Automate debugging and test processes using Perl, Ruby, or C++
• Support post-silicon bug recreation activities when required
• Collaborate closely with global teams and contribute to CPU innovation

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong understanding of computer architecture and CPU microarchitecture
• Proficiency in C++, Perl, Ruby, or similar scripting languages
• Interest or coursework in processor design, system performance, or hardware debugging
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a high-paced, collaborative engineering environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Self-motivated with a passion for hardware and innovation
