This hybrid position based in Seattle, WA, offers a unique opportunity for new graduates to contribute to large-scale data engineering, cloud-based processing, and real-time health analytics. You’ll work with experienced engineers to design and optimize distributed data pipelines while learning best practices in software development, data privacy, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain large-scale ETL pipelines and data processing systems.
• Apply core software engineering principles to real-world health data use cases.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop cloud-based backend and web solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, write maintainable code, and continuously learn from peers.
• Explore healthcare use cases and implement proof-of-concept systems with senior mentorship.
• Follow data privacy, security, and compliance protocols in development workflows.

Required Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduate in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Java, .NET, or JavaScript from academic projects or internships.
• Understanding of backend systems, REST APIs, and databases.
• Strong interest in big data, distributed systems, or healthcare technology.
• Enthusiastic problem-solver with a collaborative attitude and growth mindset.
