Job Description
Equifax is seeking an Entry Level Site Reliability Engineer to join its Technology team in Pune, India. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early career professionals looking to build expertise in Site Reliability Engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud based distributed systems.
Site Reliability Engineering at Equifax combines software engineering and systems engineering to build and operate large scale, distributed, and fault tolerant systems. Requirements
- Work in a DevSecOps environment contributing to the build and operation of small scale and fault tolerant systems
- Assist in creating tools and scripts for automated incident remediation
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to build highly available and cost effective systems
- Participate in measuring, monitoring, and analyzing system impairments and outages
- Support cloud operations teams in diagnosing and resolving system issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding such as physics or mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Less than 2 years of experience in software engineering, systems administration, database administration, or networking
- Recent graduate with at least 1 year of experience developing or administering software in a public cloud environment
- Cloud certification strongly preferred

Basic understanding of DevSecOps operational practices and engineering principles developed through education or early career experience.

Ability to organize work effectively, apply standard monitoring techniques, and measure systems against key availability and performance metrics.

Technical Communication

Troubleshooting
Experience contributing to routine issue identification and resolution. Ability to assist in diagnosing system, process, and service issues while identifying patterns and trends.
