Infor hiring Systems Engineer – Senior (Hybrid) – Hyderabad, India

Infor, a global leader in business cloud software, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support its ERP product suite and infrastructure. This role focuses on development, testing, tooling, and software delivery across IBM i and Windows platforms.

• Manage development/test environments and internal tools.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain internal platforms and systems.
• Write efficient and maintainable code (RPGLE, CLLE, SQL).
• Develop, document, and maintain deployment and installation tools.
• Support cross-platform infrastructure (IBM i and Windows).
• Ensure software adheres to usability and technical standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in cross-training efforts.
• Proactively implement automation and improvements.
• Document detailed technical procedures (work instructions).
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and analysts.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or similar IT role.
• Strong expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, DB2, SQL.
• Multi-platform experience (IBM i, Windows).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and documentation abilities.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with InstallAnywhere, InstallShield.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Jenkins, Ant, Maven.
• Windows command-line scripting.
• Experience with Java (nice to have).
• Project coordination or leadership exposure.
