Procedure is hiring a DevOps Intern who is curious about cloud infrastructure, automation, and scalable systems. This internship is designed as a strong foundation for a long-term DevOps career rather than a short-term exposure role.

The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience across the DevOps lifecycle, including containerization, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure, while working closely with experienced engineers on production-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain practical exposure to the complete DevOps lifecycle, including Dockerization, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability
• Work closely with senior engineers to understand how scalable infrastructure is designed, deployed, and maintained
• Assist in setting up automation scripts, cloud environments, and deployment workflows
• Contribute to real-world projects that directly support production systems
• Support cloud-based deployments and help maintain infrastructure reliability

Required Qualifications

• Recent graduate available to join immediately
• Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in DevOps and Cloud Engineering
• Good programming fundamentals in any language
• Willingness to learn and work with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Basic understanding of logging, monitoring, and observability concepts
• Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Prior exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Academic or personal projects involving CI/CD pipelines or containerization
• Internship experience related to cloud or DevOps practices

First 90 Days Roadmap

Month 1

• Onboard with internal systems and documentation practices
• Shadow DevOps workflows including CI/CD pipelines, Docker setup, and infrastructure basics
• Learn operational standards and deployment processes

Month 2

• Start owning small infrastructure components
• Support deployments and improve automation scripts
• Monitor system health and assist in maintaining reliability

Month 3

• Independently manage deployments
• Contribute directly to production workflows
• Suggest improvements for scalability, automation, and reliability
