Job Description

Redwood Software is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support and scale its mission-critical automation platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation, improve infrastructure, and ensure high availability and security across systems. This is a full-time remote role, ideally aligned with GMT-3 or CET business hours.

Requirements

  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for frequent, reliable deployments.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) to automate provisioning and configuration.
  • Establish and enhance observability systems (monitoring, logging, alerting).
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and maintenance tasks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and support production environments, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for scalable infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS for container orchestration.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security, IAM, and data protection.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Familiarity with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect).
  • Background in managing high-availability, large-scale systems.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile, and remote-first environments.
