Step 1: Register on TCS NextStep Portal
- Create an account or log in if already registered
Step 2: Aadhaar-Based Verification
- Ensure all details are accurate
- Incorrect information may lead to disqualification
Step 3: Apply for the Drive
- Existing users: Log in → Complete application → Apply for Drive
- New users: Register → Select category as IT → Complete application → Apply for Drive
Ensure academic, internship, and work experience details are complete and accurate.
Step 4: Select Test Mode and Centre
- Choose In-Centre test mode
- Select preferred test city (cannot be changed later)
Step 5: Confirm Application Status
- Check Track Your Application
- Status should show Applied for Drive
Important Test Information
- The test is In-Centre only
- Seats are allocated on a First-Come, First-Serve basis
- Preferred city selection may be restricted once seats are filled

Eligibility Criteria
Academic Eligibility

Minimum 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in:

- Class 12
- Diploma (if applicable)
- Graduation (all semesters)
Backlog Criteria
- Batch 2025: No active backlogs
- Batch 2026: Up to one active backlog permitted
All backlogs must be cleared before joining TCS.
Education Gap
- Maximum allowed gap: 24 months
- Gaps must be declared with valid documentation
Course Type
- Only full-time courses are eligible
- NIOS candidates are eligible if higher education is full-time
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 28 years
Work Experience
- Entry-level role
- Any prior work experience must be declared with documentation
