The company uses agile and customized approaches to rapidly define, develop, and deliver specialized solutions for airborne special mission needs.
AEVEX is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure. You will work with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, assist with infrastructure automation, and contribute to deployment workflows.
Requirements
- Support CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and maintenance
- Assist with cloud infrastructure setup and management
- Support containerized application workflows, including Docker image builds and validation
- Assist with Kubernetes-related tasks such as inspecting pods, deployments, and namespaces
- Help maintain infrastructure and deployment documentation, runbooks, and SOPs
- Perform basic log review, data collection, and operational checks to support troubleshooting
- Assist with automation and scripting tasks (Bash/Python/YAML) as directed
- Works with senior DevOps and software engineers to support development and deployment workflows
- Test changes in non-production environments and document results

Education / Certifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Equivalent practical experience (bootcamp, labs, homelab projects, or self-directed learning) may be considered in lieu of a traditional degree
Experience:
- No prior experience necessary (Entry Level/Fresher)
Security Clearance:
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required
