Spectrum is seeking motivated rising senior students for their 2026 Summer Internship Program as a DevOps Associate in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working within the telecommunications industry at one of America's leading connectivity companies.
This full-time, 10-week internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026, offering real-world experience in your field of choice. As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend your summer working alongside two teams — your respective department and your intern peer group — contributing to meaningful projects while building professional skills and connections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the public cloud engineering team by working on assigned tasks under the guidance of senior team members
- Contribute to department and team-focused projects accounting for approximately 80% of your schedule
- Participate in professional development sessions and networking activities comprising 20% of your time
- Attend the Kickoff Conference on May 27th and engage in webinars, community service, and cross-functional projects
- Collaborate with your intern peer group on various projects and activities
- Present final presentations at the conclusion of the internship program
- Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code practices

Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University as a rising senior
- Pursuing a degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or Information Technology
- Minimum 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2026 and May 2027
Experience:
- This is an entry-level internship position designed for rising seniors
- Prior internship or project experience in cloud computing, DevOps, or software development is beneficial but not required
Technical Skills:
- Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems (preferred)
- Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud platform (preferred)
- Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) (preferred)
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices (preferred)
- Strong foundation in computer science principles and programming concepts

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Work Requirements:

- Must be able to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship (this role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future)
