Spectrum Hiring 2026 Summer Intern DevOps Associate in Greenwood Village - AWS GCP Cloud, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code

Spectrum is seeking motivated rising senior students for their 2026 Summer Internship Program as a DevOps Associate in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working within the telecommunications industry at one of America's leading connectivity companies.

This full-time, 10-week internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026, offering real-world experience in your field of choice. As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend your summer working alongside two teams — your respective department and your intern peer group — contributing to meaningful projects while building professional skills and connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the public cloud engineering team by working on assigned tasks under the guidance of senior team members
• Contribute to department and team-focused projects accounting for approximately 80% of your schedule
• Participate in professional development sessions and networking activities comprising 20% of your time
• Attend the Kickoff Conference on May 27th and engage in webinars, community service, and cross-functional projects
• Collaborate with your intern peer group on various projects and activities
• Present final presentations at the conclusion of the internship program
• Gain exposure to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code practices

Educational Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University as a rising senior
• Pursuing a degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or Information Technology
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
• Graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2026 and May 2027

Experience:

• This is an entry-level internship position designed for rising seniors
• Prior internship or project experience in cloud computing, DevOps, or software development is beneficial but not required

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems (preferred)
• Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud platform (preferred)
• Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) (preferred)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (preferred)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices (preferred)
• Strong foundation in computer science principles and programming concepts

• Must be able to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship (this role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future)
