Amazon Hiring DevOps Engineer II in Bangalore - AWS, Unix, Technical Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple teams and services.
• Maintain SLAs through proactive issue detection, monitoring, and reporting.
• Setup and configure monitors to prevent prolonged outages.
• Write and review accurate support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries.
• Prioritize effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Continuously improve knowledge of Amazon's business and relevant technologies.
• Drive root cause discovery and resolution across teams.
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
• Embrace Amazon's leadership principles.

This role is part of the Amazon Rekindle program, designed for professionals returning to the workforce after a career break.

• 2+ years of software development or 2+ years of technical support experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
• Experience working with Unix operating systems.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS, networks, and operating systems.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Ability to work across multiple teams to resolve issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
