A DevOps Engineer at ZICC is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support seamless application development and delivery. Key responsibilities include automating build, release, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps tools, managing infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep, and ensuring system scalability, security, and reliability.

In this role, you will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure Pipelines. You will configure, manage, and optimize Azure resources, including VMs, Storage, Networking, Kubernetes clusters, and other Azure services. You will set up proactive alerts and integrate tools for monitoring, alerting, and reporting to detect performance issues, security threats, and system failures, ensuring timely response and high application availability.

You will create and manage automated builds, testing, release, and deployment pipelines to streamline the development lifecycle and ensure smooth application deployment to cloud or on-premises servers. You will monitor cloud-based infrastructure and deployed applications, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency while addressing performance bottlenecks to enhance scalability and response time. You will adopt and implement security best practices to ensure the secure deployment and management of applications on Azure and SAP Commerce Cloud.

You will prepare for the SAP Commerce Cloud environment, installing and configuring SAP Commerce Cloud setups including cloud and on-premises installations. You will configure and maintain secure communications using SSL and TLS and manage encryption keys. You will administer user access and permissions, including configuring role-based access control, and manage user accounts, groups, and roles within the cloud platform. You will configure integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP S/4Hana, ensuring seamless data flow between SAP Commerce Cloud and backend systems, and troubleshoot any integration issues related to APIs, middleware, or third-party applications.

You will manage database backups, implement point-in-time recovery strategies, and develop comprehensive disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection and continuity. You will optimize Azure SQL Database performance in collaboration with DBAs through effective indexing, query tuning, and DTU and CPU resource optimization. You will configure and manage Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Kusto Queries to optimize performance monitoring, diagnostics, and data analysis. You will plan and execute SAP Commerce Cloud system upgrades, applying new releases and patches, and provide ongoing technical support to development and QA teams, including on-call assistance as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps engineering
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, and related services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Kubernetes Service
• Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools
• Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification (AZ-400)
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps tools (Pipelines, Boards, Repos, Artifacts)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a team-oriented environment
• Comfortable using tools such as Git, Sonar, Jenkins, Kibana, and Dynatrace

Preferred

• Experience configuring Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and DevOps pipelines
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud and integration with SAP ERP for real-time calls and asynchronous order management connecting with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA
• Good understanding of Hybris Tomcat cluster environments, Apache web server, and CDN like Akamai
• Experience with e-commerce systems development in a large, corporate environment
• Ability to work in a globally distributed environment with a track record of executing in a dynamic team-based environment
