Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud or on-premises infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to align goals and optimize workflows.
  • Use tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef to manage infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Ensure infrastructure and applications adhere to security best practices, including vulnerability management.
  • Diagnose and resolve system and application issues in real time.
  • Monitor and optimize resource usage to ensure cost efficiency and high availability.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for processes, tools, and workflows.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in DevOps or a related role.
  • 5+ years working with AWS Cloud.
  • Experience with Github Actions.
  • 7+ years of experience with Kubernetes (Openshift preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Proficiency with Node.js or Golang.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
  • Experience troubleshooting public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • PostgreSQL and Cache Engines knowledge.
  • 7+ years of experience with traffic management (F5 setup preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD).
  • Knowledge of Istio Service Mesh.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking.
