Apex Systems is hiring Junior DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Apex Systems is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation initiatives. The role involves hands-on work with AWS services, Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring tools. You will collaborate with senior engineers to drive efficiency in a cloud-native environment

• Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD for cloud-native services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure components including EKS, EC2, S3, ALB, and Route53.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and Bash for deployment and operations tasks.
• Improve observability through logging (Fluent Bit, Loki, ELK) and monitoring (Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana) tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and document best practices to support team knowledge growth.

• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, ALB, and Route53.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging stacks including Fluent Bit, Loki, ELK, Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Grafana.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
