• Serve as a technical support partner to troubleshoot and resolve client issues
• Lead collaborative investigations across Akamai's global distributed network
• Analyze and optimize cloud-based application performance
• Provide expert insights into DNS, HTTP/S, and TCP/IP protocols
• Recommend long-term solutions to recurring technical issues
• Coordinate with internal teams to improve support processes and service quality
• Deliver excellent customer experience and service reliability across B2B clients

What You’ll Need

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in technical support or IT operations
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Strong understanding of internet fundamentals, DNS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line tools and environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds

Preferred/Bonus Skills

• Experience supporting enterprise-level cloud platforms
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, SaaS delivery, or CDN technologies
• Exposure to incident response and technical escalation workflows
• Understanding of global networking principles and latency management
