Associate Cybersecurity Engineer - DevOps | Visa Careers

Visa is seeking an Associate Cybersecurity Engineer – DevOps to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes management, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins. This role requires hands-on experience in building, deploying, and securing applications in hybrid cloud environments, with a focus on operational excellence and innovation

• Participate in team standups and review pull requests with constructive feedback.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes environments for high availability and performance.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Automate complex workflows with Ansible to streamline infrastructure operations.
• Build and deploy Docker images in shared platform Kubernetes clusters (on-prem & cloud).
• Create Prometheus metrics and Grafana dashboards for monitoring and alerting.
• Deploy and manage microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Write Python and Bash scripts for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Support production incidents, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and apply code fixes.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• OR 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
• Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Ansible, GitHub Actions)
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and containerization
• Knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Fluentbit, Opensearch, Kafka)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments
• Exposure to Generative AI tools for improving DevOps efficiency
