Position Overview – Associate DevOps Engineer (Hybrid, Mumbai)

The Associate DevOps Engineer at CometChat will work on the design, automation, and maintenance of scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments. The role focuses on provisioning, CI/CD, monitoring, and performance optimization through Infrastructure as Code.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all server environments from development through production
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment
• Assist in troubleshooting and managing infrastructure issues
• Develop internal tools to streamline engineering workflows
• Design and implement solutions for monitoring, scalability, and fault tolerance
• Manage AWS cloud resources and configuration using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance deployment reliability

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 0–1 years of experience in DevOps engineering or similar technical roles
• Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure and Linux/Unix systems administration
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
• Experience with CI/CD automation, version control, and branching workflows
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
