Job Description

InfraCloud Technologies is offering an opportunity for aspiring engineers to begin their career in the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) domain.
We are seeking individuals who are curious about how systems work, have a foundational understanding of coding or scripting, and are eager to learn cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes and containerization.

Hands-on experience or academic exposure to Kubernetes, containers, or cloud platforms will be an added advantage.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy learning through experimentation, reading documentation, and solving logical problems

Requirements

  • Deployment and management of Kubernetes clusters (GKE, RKE, or similar platforms)
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines used for Kubernetes deployments
  • Familiarity with distributed storage systems such as Rook-Ceph
  • Basic understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack
  • Proficiency in Linux systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
  • Awareness of cloud environments including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Understanding of security best practices in production systems

You will receive mentorship from senior Site Reliability Engineers who will guide you through real-world reliability engineering, automation, and system performance tuning.


Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities

As an SRE Intern at InfraCloud, you will:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers exploring cloud-native technologies including Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Service Mesh
  • Learn to build, operate, and maintain scalable and reliable systems
  • Understand DevOps automation practices and infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Explore open-source technologies, evaluate tools, and implement the best solutions for each use case
  • Participate in system troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Work alongside senior engineers to solve problems through automation and process improvement
  • Create and maintain internal documentation and share knowledge within the engineering team

Eligibility Criteria
