As an Associate Software Engineer – DevOps, you will work at the core of Mediaocean’s engineering ecosystem. You will support deployment systems, strengthen platform reliability, and help refine DevOps processes across large-scale microservices environments. This role is ideal for early-career engineers passionate about systems, automation, cloud-native technologies, and modern DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Work with key DevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, Linux, Shell scripting, CI/CD pipelines, and Jenkins.
- Support applications built on Java, .NET, Spring, microservices, Oracle, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Hazelcast, and Redis.
- Build tools and automation to improve deployment pipelines, stability, observability, and environment reliability.
- Ensure smooth, consistent, and reliable deployment of major and patch releases across production and non-production environments.
- Contribute to internal engineering tools that improve uptime, performance, and DevOps workflows.

Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields: BE / B.Tech / MCA / MSc / BSc.
- 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Operations, or Application Development (preferably in microservices).
- A curious learner with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, responsible, and collaborative with strong communication skills.
Preferred Exposure
- Deployment pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes, microservices architecture.
- Linux, shell scripting, Python, Git, caching tools, and large distributed systems.
- Bonus: familiarity with New Relic, Jenkins, Kibana.
