In this role, they will work in one of IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where IBM delivers deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These delivery centers offer clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and the adoption of new technology.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Software Developer, they will participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. They will create software that enables their clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys. They will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, ensuring the applications delivered are high-performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable.
Requirements
Their primary responsibilities include:
- Analytical Problem-Solving and Solution Enhancement: Analyze, validate, and propose improvements to existing failures, with the support of the architect and technical leader.
- Comprehensive Engagement Across Process Phases: Involvement in every step of the process, from design, development, testing, release changes, and troubleshooting where necessary, providing excellent customer service.
- Strategic Stakeholder Engagement and Innovative Coding Solutions: Drive key discussions with stakeholders and analyze the current landscape for opportunities to operate and code creative solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Programming (preferably in Java, C++, Python, Node.js) and Software Development Life Cycle Concepts
- This is an entry-level off-campus hiring position, and candidates must have completed their education and obtained their degree
- Course completion year should be 2024 only
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech/Dual Degree/MSc/MCA in CS/IT or other semi-IT/circuit branches with a minimum of 6.0 CGPA/60%
- Calculation of qualifying marks: Sum of marks obtained divided by the sum total of maximum marks obtainable. All subjects will be considered, including elective/optional subjects.
