Avanexa is hiring AWS DevOps Engineer - Intern Bengaluru

Avanexa is seeking an AWS DevOps Intern to join its engineering team. This internship provides hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization. It’s an excellent opportunity for freshers eager to explore DevOps practices and cloud-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and managing AWS resources (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS)
• Support CI/CD pipeline development with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
• Learn and work with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Gain experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
• Monitor system performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Troubleshoot deployment and networking issues
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to enhance release workflows
• Document processes, automation scripts, and troubleshooting steps

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Basic knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM)
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and shell commands
• Understanding of version control with Git/GitHub
• Interest in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn cloud technologies
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Docker and container basics
• Awareness of Terraform or CloudFormation
• Basic scripting in Python or Shell
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, ports, firewalls)
