Role Overview
As an AWS DevOps Engineer (Freelancer), you will be responsible for managing large customer deployments, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automating monitoring, and ensuring cloud infrastructure scalability and efficiency. You will work on CI/CD pipelines, automated system health checks, and DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- Automate workflows using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Configure and manage applications with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, and monitoring tools like Grafana.
- Own the build and release cycle of customer projects.
- Deploy releases and handle operational maintenance.
- Support the migration of infrastructure to the AWS cloud.
- Maintain best practices for DevOps and cloud security.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with Terraform for IaC.
- 4+ years of Linux or Windows Administration.
- 4+ years of experience in configuration management (Ansible, Chef) and DevOps for large-scale customers.
- 4+ years of experience with Git and version control strategies.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Infrastructure and platform services.
- Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS), ECS, and container services on AWS.
- Strong problem-solving and proactive troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Associate Certification.
- AWS DevOps Professional Certification.
