Team and Role Overview

The SRE/DevOps team at Bright focuses on ensuring infrastructure reliability and operational efficiency. As an SRE Intern, you'll contribute to maintaining scalable systems, supporting daily operations, and driving automation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role offers hands-on experience in DevOps practices, allowing you to collaborate across teams and directly impact the company's growth in the FinTech sector.

• Support daily SRE/DevOps operational tasks to maintain infrastructure stability.
• Assist with AWS cost analysis, tagging, compliance, usage reports, and optimization strategies.
• Help with monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbook improvements for better system visibility.
• Contribute to automation work using scripting languages to reduce manual processes.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks such as troubleshooting, log checks, and metrics reporting.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, SOPs, and internal processes.
• Participate in on-call duties on a shift basis to support infrastructure reliability.

Requirements*

Experience & Background

• Basic understanding of Linux and shell commands.
• Basic coding knowledge in bash or Python.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts, preferably AWS.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn quickly.
• Interest in DevOps/SRE practices, including automation, CI/CD, cloud, and monitoring.
