Job Description

BrowserStack is seeking a DevOps Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to support its globally distributed infrastructure. In this role, you’ll work on managing AWS-based Kubernetes clusters, automate operations with Ansible and Terraform, and contribute to platform reliability and scalability. You’ll be part of a remote-first team focused on performance, resilience, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Manage global AWS Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure.
  • Lead incident response efforts and drive improvements via post-incident reviews.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address infrastructure issues.
  • Improve tooling, frameworks, and success metrics for the DevOps ecosystem.
  • Provide technical support to customers during onboarding and usage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to platform enhancements with a focus on reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.

  • Strong skills in Python and Bash (or similar Unix shell).

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Ansible, Terraform
    • Docker, Kubernetes
    • Monitoring tools like Prometheus, Nagios
    • Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP
    • CI/CD tools like Jenkins
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with virtualization tools like KVM, ESXi.
  • A startup mindset: self-motivated, fast learner, and results-oriented.
