Burns & McDonnell is looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. This role involves working across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, driving automation, and ensuring high-quality delivery through DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and cloud-native tools.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration across AWS and Azure platforms.
• Develop automated testing frameworks to ensure reliable code delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes using Agile methodologies.
• Implement high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers).
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Background in managing SQL/NoSQL databases including scaling, replication, and backups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Postgraduate preferred).

• Experience implementing DevOps culture across organizations.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Exposure to advanced database optimization and performance tuning.
