About the Position
The Software Engineer I (Buyer Experience) will use creativity, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities to help C2FO deliver new product offerings in B2B payments, analytics, and Working Capital Management. Working closely with Product Managers and Engineers, they will develop scalable applications that enhance customer experience.
Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Prioritize both personal and team success, maintaining respect for colleagues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Engineering, Product, DevOps) to refine requirements, break down tasks, and work independently on complex projects.
- Take ownership of the codebase and contribute to improvements.
- Proficiency in GitHub, testing, code quality, and continuous integration.
- Work on high-level and low-level designs, tracking and pushing work through the process reliably.
- Understand the problem space deeply and contribute to finding the best solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations, improve documentation, and maintain high engineering standards.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, Java, Node.js, TypeScript.
- Experience with RDBMS, REST/GraphQL APIs, AWS/GCP.
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kafka, and modern frontend frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Nest.js, Next.js, GoLang, ORM tools, relational & NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog.
- Strong understanding of system design (HLD, LLD) and architecture.
- Experience in scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems in a FinTech or product-based company.
