Checkmarx – DevOps Engineer (Early–Mid Level) | 1-3 Years |

This is a foundational-to-growing DevOps role in a security-first organization. You are not expected to design everything end-to-end alone. Instead, you will:

• Work with senior DevOps engineers
• Operate and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Support AWS infrastructure
• Write automation scripts
• Learn DevSecOps best practices in real enterprise environments

This role sits between fresher DevOps and mid-level DevOps.

• Assist with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
• Support deployments and release processes
• Improve pipeline reliability and speed

Cloud Operations (AWS)

• Support AWS infrastructure (EC2, IAM, networking basics)
• Help troubleshoot cloud-related issues
• Participate in on-call rotations (with senior support)

Automation & Scripting

• Write scripts in Python or Bash
• Improve repetitive operational tasks
• Maintain existing automation tools

Containers & Linux

• Work with Docker containers
• Basic Linux system administration
• Understand how applications run in containers

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor applications and infrastructure
• Investigate alerts and performance issues
• Learn observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain runbooks and process docs
• Work closely with developers
• Support infrastructure needs of dev teams

Skill Expectations (Very Important)

This role expects working knowledge, not expert-level mastery.

Must-Have (You should be comfortable with):
