Job Description
Cisco Cloud Security Engineering is looking for a motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join its SSE Control Plane organization. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career candidates passionate about cloud technologies, automation, DevOps, and site reliability engineering.
As part of the team, you will work on the design, deployment, and operation of cloud-native microservices supporting Cisco Umbrella and Cisco Secure Access platforms.
This role provides hands-on exposure to modern cloud infrastructure, CI/CD practices, container technologies, observability, automation, and production operations while collaborating with experienced engineering teams.
Your Impact
- Assist development and operations teams in automating and improving software delivery processes
- Learn and contribute to CI/CD pipelines supporting reliable deployments
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using observability and monitoring tools
- Participate in troubleshooting issues across cloud environments and applications
- Support deployment, testing, automation, and operational workflows
- Learn cloud security, scalability, reliability, and incident response best practices
- Contribute to automation scripts and engineering productivity tools
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and cloud infrastructure teams
- Continuously learn new DevOps, cloud, and SRE technologies
Team & Work Environment

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related technical field
- Fresh graduate or early-career candidate interested in DevOps, SRE, cloud infrastructure, or automation
- Basic understanding of software development and operating systems
- Knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages:

- Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and command-line usage
