CleverTap Hiring Entry Level DevOps Engineer

CleverTap is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its Engineering team in Mumbai. In this role, you will maintain, manage, and improve the day-to-day operations that keep the platform secure, scalable, and highly available.

You will work closely with engineering teams, customer success teams, and vendor support teams to improve operational efficiency and infrastructure reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute standard operating procedures to ensure platform security and availability
• Recommend and implement improvements to operational processes
• Execute planned engineering tasks and implementation stories
• Participate in platform architecture and infrastructure discussions
• Collaborate with engineering and customer success teams
• Work with vendor support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Support production infrastructure and on-call operations
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployment environments
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and operational excellence

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science from premier institutes or equivalent practical experience
• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps engineering
• Experience or working knowledge of:
  • Terraform
  • AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in production environments
• Experience supporting production systems and on-call operations
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments
• Experience with:
  • Amazon ECS
  • Kubernetes
• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows
• Proficiency in one programming language preferably:
  • Golang
  • Java
• AWS DevOps Certification is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and operational skills
• Good collaboration and communication abilities
