Role Overview: Cloud DevOps Graduate Engineer
AVEVA’s global Cloud DevOps team manages the operations of all AVEVA Cloud Solutions. This role focuses on maintaining high availability, supporting cloud infrastructure, and optimizing DevOps pipelines.
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer in the R&D team, you will:
- Enhance and support cloud infrastructure monitoring and operational processes.
- Manage deployments of AVEVA Cloud solutions, ensuring stable and scalable operations.
- Work collaboratively with development and portfolio teams to implement operationally secure solutions.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
- Participate in Scrum processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
- Document operational processes and deployment workflows.
Global Work Nature:
The role may involve occasional after-hours work and being on-call as part of a shared team rota.
Mandatory Skills and Competencies
- 2026 Entry-level BE/BTech in Computer Science or Information Technology with 70%+ aggregate and no backlogs.
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong problem-solving skills, requirement analysis, and a positive learning attitude.
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
- Willingness to engage in troubleshooting and resolving complex cloud infrastructure problems.
