Cloud Engineer – AWS Infrastructure | Terraform | DevOps Tools | Hyderabad | 2–4 Years Experience

Clovertex is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong AWS expertise, hands-on infrastructure automation skills, and a solid understanding of DevOps practices. The role involves building and maintaining cloud-native environments while working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for deploying and managing AWS workloads, supporting infrastructure automation, enabling CI/CD processes, and ensuring platform reliability and security across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, Lambda, and others
• Support Infrastructure-as-Code automation using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Assist in CI/CD pipeline setup using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools
• Participate in monitoring, backup, maintenance, and operational support activities
• Troubleshoot cloud and infrastructure issues and support root-cause analysis
• Work with container tools such as Docker and ECR; contribute to Kubernetes-based deployments (optional but preferred)
• Support AWS security, compliance, and best practices implementation
• Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and SOPs
• Collaborate with DevOps, platform engineering, and development teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies
• Strong understanding of AWS networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, route tables, NACLs)
• Linux systems administration experience
• Working knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, Git, and CI/CD tools
• Scripting skills in Bash (intermediate/advanced) and Python (beginner)

Good to Have

• Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and containerization
• Experience migrating workloads from on-premise or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with AWS security tools (GuardDuty, KMS, Inspector, WAF, etc.)
• AWS Associate-level certification
