As a Cloud Engineer I, specializing in Azure and AWS, you will be responsible for supporting the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure and services. This role involves implementing cloud solutions, maintaining cloud environments, and ensuring their reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud resources and services using Azure and AWS.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Assist in implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline application and infrastructure deployment.
- Respond to and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and assist in resolving problems to prevent recurrence.
- Implement cloud security measures and assist in maintaining compliance with industry standards.
- Support the development and execution of disaster recovery plans.
- Create and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure, configurations, and processes.
- Assist in preparing reports on cloud performance, resource utilization, and improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in-office
Preferred Notice Period: 30 days
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role.
- Experience with Azure and AWS platforms.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals/Associate (or similar).
- Basic knowledge of Azure and AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Storage.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, AWS CloudFormation.
- Understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch.
