Cloud Support Engineer (Deployment)

As a Cloud Support Engineer at AWS, you will play a key role in assisting customers with their cloud deployments, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring seamless DevOps practices. This role is customer-facing, requiring strong problem-solving skills and expertise in cloud computing technologies.

• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues related to DevOps technologies.
• Automate and streamline processes to improve customer experience.
• Develop training materials, scripts, and tools to enhance support efficiency.
• Collaborate with AWS teams to reproduce and resolve complex customer issues.
• Contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in AWS events, training, and mentorship programs.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical role.
• Knowledge of DevOps, deployment, orchestration, or configuration management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Chef, Puppet, Docker, Jenkins, or Ansible.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with web and application servers like Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, IIS, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, C#, Ruby, or Golang.
• Understanding of deployment lifecycles and cloud automation.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud infrastructure.
