Requirements
Comprinno is seeking a DevOps Engineer with 6 months to 2 years of experience to design, deploy, and operate highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud systems. The role involves cloud migration, CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure automation, disaster recovery planning, and cost optimization.
This position works closely with cross-functional teams to implement organizational DevOps strategies across multiple cloud and operating environments.
Key Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer
Cloud Infrastructure and Operations
- Deploy, operate, and manage highly available and scalable systems using AWS and other cloud platforms
- Execute cloud migration projects, including applications, data, and infrastructure transitions
- Maintain secure, compliant, and cost-optimized cloud environments
CI/CD and Automation
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy
- Write and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK
- Automate infrastructure using GitOps and configuration management tools
Containers and Orchestration
- Set up and manage Docker-based container infrastructure
- Work with container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes and Docker Swarm
Disaster Recovery and Reliability
- Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies
- Ensure business continuity with minimal downtime
Development Tools and Scripting
- Use Maven or Gradle for build automation
- Leverage AWS CLI, Bash/Shell scripting, and Python for cloud automation
- Manage source code using Git or GitLab
Databases and Operating Systems
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB
- Support multiple operating systems such as RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Windows, and other Linux distributions
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively
- Provide proactive troubleshooting and problem resolution
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 6 months to 2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles
- Experience migrating workloads to cloud environments
- Strong understanding of AWS services, with working knowledge of Azure and GCP
- Knowledge of cloud-based Disaster Recovery strategies
- Experience implementing security best practices and compliance controls
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
