Cybersecurity Engineer – DevOps | CBRE Hiring | India (Gurgaon / Hyderabad / Noida)

CBRE is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer – DevOps for its Global Cyber Security Office. This is a full-time role for experienced professionals who want to work at the intersection of DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

This role focuses on building and maintaining secure DevSecOps platforms, Kubernetes infrastructure, and cloud security systems at a global scale.

The Global Cyber Security Office (CSO) at CBRE focuses on reducing cyber risk by integrating security practices, tools, and processes across the organization.

As part of this team, you will help build a secure DevSecOps ecosystem, working on cloud infrastructure, security pipelines, and monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure operational integrity of DevSecOps platforms and infrastructure

• Manage security tools, scanning agents, and internal security pipelines

• Administer and troubleshoot AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters

• Handle multi-region failover and disaster recovery planning

• Perform triaging, debugging, and root cause analysis across cloud services

• Manage secrets and certificate systems (KMS, Secrets Manager)

• Track and report SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs

• Automate metrics collection and log ingestion using:

  • Logstash
  • Datadog
  • Prometheus

• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system uptime

• Build automation and governance for secure infrastructure

Required Skills

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Strong experience with AWS services:

  • IAM, EC2, S3, EKS
  • Route53, CloudFront
  • KMS, ACM, Secrets Manager

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (GCP / Azure / Alibaba)

DevOps & Automation

• CI/CD tools:

  • Jenkins
  • GitHub Actions
  • Concourse

• Infrastructure as Code:

  • Terraform (3–5 years experience)

• Configuration management:

  • Chef (preferred)
  • Ansible / SaltStack

Containers & Systems

• Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm
• Linux system administration
• Container orchestration and troubleshooting

Scripting & Development

• Scripting languages:
  • Bash
  • Python
  • Ruby
  • Go

Monitoring & Observability

• Prometheus
• Datadog
• Logstash

Version Control

• Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps

Experience Required

• 3–5 years in DevOps / Cloud / DevSecOps roles
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS
• Experience working on secure, scalable cloud infrastructure

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in:

  • Or related field
