Cyient Hiring DevOps Associate in Hyderabad - AWS, Terraform, CI/CD Expertise
Job Description
Cyient is looking for a skilled DevOps Associate to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security for our applications. Leveraging your knowledge of AWS services and DevOps tools, you will support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring to drive efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Kafka clusters for consumer lag and partition health, performing basic troubleshooting
- Write and maintain Terraform scripts for AWS resource provisioning and ensure configuration management
- Implement application configuration strategies using AWS AppConfig
- Perform basic vulnerability checks and compliance scans with AWS Inspector
- Help set up dashboards and alerts for EKS and Kafka using CloudWatch or Prometheus
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for operational issues
Requirements
Cyient seeking a motivated DevOps Associate with foundational experience in cloud and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to AWS services and a passion for continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
- Basic to intermediate experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with AWS services: Lambda, EKS, AppConfig, Inspector
- Knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
- Exposure to Kafka monitoring and Kubernetes fundamentals
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Automation
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration concepts
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Argo CD, Helm/Kustomize, and GitOps workflows
- Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus/Grafana
- Exposure to feature flag strategies and progressive delivery
