Job Description

Davies is seeking an Associate DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure, tooling, and processes that enable reliable, secure, and efficient software delivery across the organization. You will work closely with development teams, cloud engineers, architects, security specialists, and global stakeholders to ensure applications and platforms can be deployed, supported, and scaled with confidence.

Requirements

  • Developing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments across multiple environments
  • Provisioning and managing cloud environments (Azure preferred) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
  • Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system visibility, stability, and performance
  • Troubleshooting environment and infrastructure issues in collaboration with global teams
  • Driving automation to reduce manual effort and increase release velocity
  • Supporting release management and deployment governance for smooth, predictable delivery
  • Embedding DevOps best practices across development, architecture, product, and security teams
  • Contributing to technical documentation for pipelines, infrastructure, and operational procedures
  • Participating in on-call support on a rotational basis when required
  • Communicating with global stakeholders, vendors, and managed service providers on environment status and risks

  • 3-6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar)
  • Strong Linux administration skills and scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Good understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps delivery methodologies
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for supporting global teams and distributed stakeholders
