Job Description

Deloitte hiring a Fresher Azure / AWS DevOps Engineer – Analyst to join its cloud and DevOps support teams in Hyderabad. This role is well-suited for fresh graduates who are eager to build a strong foundation in cloud computing and DevOps practices while working in an enterprise IT environment.

The position focuses on learning core cloud concepts, supporting day-to-day operational activities, and following best practices under the guidance and mentorship of experienced professionals

Requirements

  • Assist with routine setup, configuration, and monitoring of Azure and AWS resources under senior team guidance.
  • Support basic user access management tasks, including creating, modifying, and deleting user access in cloud portals.
  • Perform daily health and status checks of cloud services using predefined checklists and monitoring dashboards.

Operations and Troubleshooting Support

  • Shadow senior engineers during troubleshooting of basic cloud issues such as VM startup failures and resource quota limits.
  • Observe and document troubleshooting steps, root cause findings, and resolutions.
  • Report issues or unusual findings promptly to the appropriate stakeholders.

DevOps Learning and Enablement

  • Participate in cloud-based deployment activities and observe end-to-end DevOps workflows.
  • Learn and practice DevOps fundamentals, including version control basics and execution of sample CI/CD pipelines.
  • Observe automation jobs and understand standard enterprise DevOps processes.

Documentation and Knowledge Management

  • Assist in maintaining and updating documentation such as installation guides, FAQs, and operational runbooks.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with standard operating procedures and compliance requirements.

Training and Collaboration

  • Actively participate in training sessions and continuous learning programs.
  • Seek mentorship from experienced colleagues to build technical and professional skills.
  • Attend team meetings to understand project goals, workflows, and technical requirements.

Required Technical Skills and Competencies

  • Basic awareness of cloud computing concepts (servers, storage, networking).
  • Interest in learning and working with Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
  • Willingness to follow instructions, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
  • Understanding of security auditing policies, critical authorizations, and access controls.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Clear written and spoken English communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
  • Proactive attitude toward training, self-learning, and skill development.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

  • 0–1 year of professional experience.
  • Internships, academic projects, certifications, or personal projects related to cloud or DevOps are considered a plus.
  • Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
