As a Kubernetes Admin - Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high quality work products within due timelines. You will mentor junior team members and liaise with onsite/offshore teams to understand functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze Kubernetes cluster performance, scalability, and reliability to provide actionable insights
• Perform root cause analysis on cluster issues and recommend solutions to enhance system stability
• Guide teams on containerization strategies and workload migration to Kubernetes
• Provide expertise on managing multi-cloud/hybrid Kubernetes environments
• Identify, analyze, and automate routine tasks
• Coordinate with multiple teams to fulfill requests or resolve incidents
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters, including node failures, pod scheduling issues, and container crashes
• Create comprehensive reports and dashboards on cluster health and incidents
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior resources
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes administration and container orchestration platforms
• Solid understanding of container technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS)
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack

Good to Have

• Understanding of 2-tier/3-tier or multi-tier architecture
• Experience in Kubernetes administration
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domains
• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools

Education

BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
