About the Role

Deluxe is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join its growing DevOps and release engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve release automation, CI/CD processes, deployment workflows, and infrastructure reliability.

You will contribute to build and release operations, containerized deployments, repository management, and continuous delivery practices while helping engineering teams streamline software deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD & Release Engineering

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation workflows
• Collaborate with product development teams to enhance build, test, and deployment processes
• Support software releases across development, testing, and production environments
• Ensure reliable and high-quality software delivery processes

DevOps & Infrastructure Support

• Support deployment infrastructure and DevOps operational workflows
• Work with Docker containers and containerized application deployments
• Manage repositories and dependency management tools such as Artifactory or Sonatype Nexus
• Assist with system configuration, automation, and operational support

Version Control & Automation

• Administer and manage Git version control systems
• Support scripting, automation, and deployment-related tasks
• Contribute to improving operational efficiency and engineering productivity

Collaboration & Documentation

• Support development and QA teams throughout build and release cycles
• Document build, deployment, and operational procedures
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving deployment-related issues
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams

• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of DevOps experience OR Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins
• Experience deploying applications using Docker containers
• Familiarity with repository and dependency management tools such as Artifactory or Sonatype Nexus
• Experience using and administering Git version control systems
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge
• Understanding of networking concepts including firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and open ports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development and QA teams
• Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment concepts is preferred
• Associate's degree with additional DevOps experience is an advantage
• Must be 18 years or older
