Role Overview – DevOps and Cloud Deployment Intern

KaaryaConnect is offering an overseas remote internship opportunity for a DevOps and Cloud Deployment Intern. This role is designed for candidates who want to gain international experience in cloud computing, DevOps, and site reliability engineering while working with modern tools and practices.

The position involves hands-on work with Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments, and cloud infrastructure. Interns will collaborate with senior engineers and gain exposure to AWS, GCP, Docker, Terraform, monitoring tools, and automated deployment strategies.

• Monthly Stipend: ₹6,000 – ₹10,000

Key Responsibilities – DevOps and Cloud Deployment Internship

• CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain automated testing, deployment, and rollback pipelines
• Containerization: Package services with Docker and manage images and registries
• Cloud Deployments: Assist with AWS/GCP provisioning and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary releases)
• Infrastructure as Code: Contribute Terraform and YAML configurations for reproducible infrastructure
• Monitoring and Logging: Set up dashboards and alerts using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and Stackdriver
• Environment Management: Organize secrets and configurations across dev/stage/prod environments
• Site Reliability: Support backups, recovery drills, runbooks, and health checks
• Cloud Security: Implement least-privilege IAM policies, patching, key rotation, and dependency scanning
• Cost Management: Track usage, optimize cloud resources, and maintain cost efficiency
• Collaboration: Work with backend and frontend teams to support deployments and document changes

Required Qualifications – DevOps and Cloud Deployment Intern

• Academic coursework in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent technical projects
• Familiarity with Linux systems, shell scripting, and Git/GitHub workflows
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines)
• Understanding of Docker, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of networking basics (HTTP, DNS, TLS) and REST APIs
• Strong curiosity, problem-solving attitude, and effective communication skills
