DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure (GCP and others).
  • Optimize resource utilization and automate provisioning with Terraform/Ansible.
• 3rd-Party Integrations:
  • Integrate external tools/services; ensure API compatibility, security, and reliability.
  • Document processes and train team members.
• Operations & Monitoring:
  • Implement monitoring/alerting solutions (e.g., Datadog).
  • Handle incidents, root cause analysis, and disaster recovery.
• Collaboration:
  • Act as a bridge between business and IT teams; provide technical mentorship.
• Automation & Scripting:
  • Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, Go, Ruby) for process efficiency.
• Security & Compliance:
  • Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, secret management) and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Analyze system performance and optimize cloud costs.

• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, Go).
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or equivalent roles.
• Certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
