Job Description
HDFC Bank is hiring a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services, automated provisioning, and Infrastructure as Code. This role is ideal for engineers who can design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud environments and drive automation across the infrastructure lifecycle.
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, automating provisioning workflows, and enabling efficient CI/CD delivery pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and security across cloud workloads.
Requirements
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure
- Optimize AWS resources for performance, security, and cost efficiency
- Implement automated provisioning using Terraform and Packer
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud resources
- Work with development and operations teams to support infrastructure requirements
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to track performance and troubleshoot issues
- Communicate infrastructure updates and improvements to teams and stakeholders
Mandatory Skills
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong AWS focus
- Expertise in automated provisioning and cloud environment management
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Packer
- Strong understanding of CI/CD workflows and version control systems
- Scripting experience in Python or Bash
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
Secondary Skills (Good to Have)
- AWS certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, etc.)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and serverless architectures
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools such as CloudWatch or ELK Stack
Education
Bachelor’s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- B.E / B.Tech or equivalent
