As a DevOps Engineer (Cloudera), you will administer and optimize distributed big data clusters. This hands-on role requires expertise in Hadoop, Linux, and Java middleware, along with cloud-based data platform support (AWS preferred). You’ll play a key role in performance tuning, security management, and infrastructure automation.

• Install, configure, and administer Cloudera Hadoop clusters (HDFS, Hive, YARN, etc.)
• Manage and monitor distributed systems and middleware application performance.
• Optimize Java applications and troubleshoot complex system-level issues.
• Implement Hadoop security using Kerberos, LDAP, and Active Directory.
• Set up data encryption via HDFS, LUKS, and PKI methodologies.
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible and Git.
• Support cloud-based data cluster operations (AWS preferred).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in Linux system administration and performance tuning.
• Integration of Linux OS with LDAP/Active Directory.
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem with Cloudera (preferred).
• Familiarity with HBase, Spark, Impala, Kudu, etc.
• Hands-on with Java application tuning and middleware configuration.
• Exposure to ETL pipelines, data access, and custom analytics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
